Hilly stuff
Spent a while driving in hillier (outer metro) terrain yesterday, including "cement hill", a veritable incline, in both directions. On the downhill run at 80km/h on "cruise", battery charging was evident until, near the bottom of the hill, a now almost full battery and a zoned speed reduction to 60km/h resulted in the ICE springing to life quite fervently with unknown high RPM (first time I realised this car has no tachometer!). The only explanation might be (ICE) "engine braking", as there's no load on the generator from a charged battery. Your comments/suggestions are welcome.

Hybrid at last
While I'm an avid EV fan, life's realities suggested my involvement would only extend to assisting others with their build projects and in the case of my children and grandchildren, driving their's on occasion.
But the other day I got the surprise I never expected! My wife didn't buy a Jeep (thank God!), she bought a HYBRID! And it's a ripper! Only had it two days but (like the wife) it's a keeper!....

Already the incredible fuel economy capabilities are glaringly apparent, and with the aid of the easily accessible graphic info screens, the concept that delivers the massive fuel savings is easily understood....
In this blog I'll attempt to reveal details about the concept, the car, and the experience of HYBRID driving.
